On 28th June, the Senior High Department held a report on students' calligraphy practice and an exhibition in the lecture hall.
As the saying goes, ‘the style is the man.’ Handwriting can not only showcase the quality of writing, but also represent a person's learning and cultivation. People who practise calligraphy often give others the feeling and impression of being well-educated, elegant in words and deeds, and extraordinary in bearing. Therefore, the education of practicing Chinese characters is one that the Senior High Department attaches great significance to. What’s more, it is common practice for students to practice Chinese characters at ordinary times, which has become a beautiful scenery of the Senior High Department.
Overall, while practicing calligraphy, the students were immersed in the fragrance of ink and writing, who reveled in the joy of self-improvement. Furthermore, what the students get every day is not just what they get after practicing Chinese characters, but more of the cultivation of habits in a quiet way.
